on page 36 Pema Chodron is quotes this: "We are all a paradoxical bundle of rich potential that consists of both neurosis and wisdom."
I like this because it proves that everyone in the world has potential to show their wisdom and do anything. Even under tight circumstances we can still over come the oppression in our lives. And through our trials we can release our "rich potential" and fill the world with our ideas, and morals.
This is basically the american dream. Coming out of hard trials and overcoming them no matter what gets in the way!

Summer time!!
The summer is sometimes Hot, Brutal, and not too fun. Yet, most of the time I think of it as the best time of the year. Summer is not necessarily my favorite season, but i'm definitly not complaining about the break we get off. For me summer is spending all night with my friends, doing whatever we feel like doing.
I seem to notice that me and my friends go to buffalo wild wings a lot! Over the summer we'll probably pick it up to going around once every week. I don't think buffalo wild wings has the best food for you. But it sure is delicious. I think the best kind of sauce is their asian zing. They have so many choices of sauces for your wings or burgers.
Another thing i enjoy doing over the summer is playing some ultimate frisbee. This is basically like football, or soccer. The main rule is that you cannot move once you have the frisbee. So anyways, you pass the frisbee from player to player, hoping to make it to the goal. Yet, if the other team knocks the frisbee down, or even intercepts it, its their frisbee.
So many things are done, and can be done over the summer time. I personally cannot wait until it comes around in a few weeks!!

What Drives Me?
Many things drive me to better myself....
In sports, the thing that drives me is the will to play the sport and win. I am extremely competative at times and will work outside of the practice time just to improve my skills. Yet, i don't only try to improve myself, yet also try and improve others.
While running, the thing that drives me are the friends i go along with. They don't make running boring or tedious. Instead we have a good time and could talk about anything. We may even take running to another level and jump over obstacles or things like that.
In my education, I havnt really found what drives me. In grade school and high school i never was pushed to my full potential. However, while in college i have realised that i need to do well! So suppose that I have driven myself to do a better job.
However, overall i believe that the one thing that drives me is God. He always seems to be there and pushing me farther than anyone else ever does. He also allows me to go to lengths in which i had never thought possible.
These are the things that drive me...

Music
I have been playing an instrument ever since i was in grade school. I loved playing the trumpet because it was loud, and just felt right. I played the trumpet up until my 8t grade year, when i switched over to the euphonium.
The euphonium, is also know as a baritone. This instrument is played exactly like a trumpet, however the mouth piece is much larger making it a tad bit easier to play. It's shaped like a tuba, yet isn't that heavy. All throughout high school I played this instrument. Yet, my time with the euphonium came to an end as well.
After high school was over, i stopped playing concert music completely. However, my time and experiences had not been forgotten. My musical career is not over. I am still playing but just on a different instrument, along with a different genre of music.
Now i've been experimenting with the guitar, bass, and even a little bit of drums. My band and I do not perform a lot any more, however i still play by myself.
The time I spent in the concert band has made my guitar playing even easier. Whenever I learn new things about the guitar, everything just seems to connect a little bit better. Studying scales and arrangements in the concert band, made my mind open and realise that everything musical works in the same way. I just hope to continue and learn all that is to be known about music.

Bye Bye Bin Ladin
Last night around 11 o'clock at night, President Barack Obama announced that the body of Osama Bin Ladin is in the hands of Americans. Apparently yesterday, United States forces stormed the hotel in which Bin Ladin had been staying in, and under harsh condition had to take him out. The took custody of his body and later did DNA testing to confirm that it was truly his body.
This is a huge deal, especially in the hearts of Americans, as well as many of countries. Cheers by the white house gate, had gathered a crowd to celebrate the death of Bin Ladin. The Face of terror has been taken down by the Americans. I would say that 911 victims are the most grateful because they have receive a sense of closure.
However, as we Americans cheer today for the death of Bin Ladin, we will have to continue and keep struggling for the fight against terrorism. The fight is far from over, and this could very well be only the beginning. With Bin Ladin gone, it is thought that Al Qaeda is separated. However, the threat is still out there and recruits are still coming in for Al Qaeda.
We can only hope that the United States and all of our allies, can take this advantage of Bin Ladin's death; and continue to pursue Al Qaeda, as well as any other terrorist organizations.
