Last night around 11 o'clock at night, President Barack Obama announced that the body of Osama Bin Ladin is in the hands of Americans. Apparently yesterday, United States forces stormed the hotel in which Bin Ladin had been staying in, and under harsh condition had to take him out. The took custody of his body and later did DNA testing to confirm that it was truly his body.
This is a huge deal, especially in the hearts of Americans, as well as many of countries. Cheers by the white house gate, had gathered a crowd to celebrate the death of Bin Ladin. The Face of terror has been taken down by the Americans. I would say that 911 victims are the most grateful because they have receive a sense of closure.
However, as we Americans cheer today for the death of Bin Ladin, we will have to continue and keep struggling for the fight against terrorism. The fight is far from over, and this could very well be only the beginning. With Bin Ladin gone, it is thought that Al Qaeda is separated. However, the threat is still out there and recruits are still coming in for Al Qaeda.
We can only hope that the United States and all of our allies, can take this advantage of Bin Ladin's death; and continue to pursue Al Qaeda, as well as any other terrorist organizations.
